I bought one (more like, broke down and bought one) for our pending trip to California June 17 - 21. Julia loves to be out and walking around, but I hate the thought of her getting away from me or being snatched... not that a "leash" would prevent that, by any means, but at least it should help me keep tabs on her a bit.
Adam has been the most successful one at getting Julia to wear her harness... here she is on Saturday... Adam had it on her and she couldn't have cared less.
Here's hoping *I* can put it on her and it works while we are on vacation...!

When we went to CA when our oldest was 20 months old, we used an umbrella stroller almost everywhere that we brought with us. We were able to have her ride in it right up to the gate at the airports and they put it on the plane (in the passenger part) and got it off when we arrived so it was waiting for us before we went to baggage. It was perfect because she didn't have to do all of the walking everywhere too, like when we went to SeaWorld and the San Diego Zoo. Just a thought. They are pretty cheap too (I think it was like $12). So worth it!
